"Volat" is an old term for a vault, an arch of a gate — a place under which merchants and travelers of the old bazaar used to gather. Our restaurant bears that name because it stands in the same place: in a stone house in the heart of Podgorica, a few steps from the clock tower.
Everything we prepare has its roots in traditional Montenegrin cuisine — grilled and grilled meat, homemade cream and prosciutto, vegetables from local markets. The fire burns from morning until late at night, and our team is here to make everyone feel that same warmth.
